Introduction
为增进中国人民与世界各国人民的相互了解和友谊，发展中国与世界各国在各领域的交流与合作，中国政府特设立奖学金，用于资助世界各国优秀学生、学者到中国的院校学习或开展研究。
In order to strengthen mutual understanding and friendship between the Chinese and people around the world and promote China’s exchange and cooperation with other countries in various fields, the Chinese government sets up scholarships for talented students and scholars to pursue higher education or conduct research in Chinese universities.
本项目为中国政府奖学金“高校自主招生项目”，包括“高校研究生项目”和“丝绸之路项目”（中国传媒大学的代码为10033，留学项目种类为B类）。
The program is a University Program from Chinese Government Scholarship, containing Graduate Student program andthe Silk Road program. (The code of Communication University of China is 10033, and the category of study-abroad program is B)

二、申请条件
Eligibility: To be eligible, applicants must
1. 申请人必须为非中国籍公民，且身心健康。
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and in good physical and mental health.
2. 年龄、学历、语言要求：
Age, required education level, required language level
（1）申请攻读硕士学位者，应当具有学士学位或同等学力，学习成绩优秀，年龄不超过35周岁；
Applicants for master's degree should hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent, have excellent academic performance and be under the age of 35.
（2）攻读博士学位者，应当具有硕士学位或同等学力，学习成绩优秀，年龄不超过40周岁；
Applicants for the doctor's degree shall have a master's degree or equivalent, excellent academic performance, and be under the age of 40.
（3）申请以中文为专业教学语言的攻读硕士、博士学位者，中文水平须达到汉语水平考试（HSK）六级180分以上（单科成绩60分以上）；
Applicants who apply for master's or doctor's degree programs with Chinese as the professional teaching language should have a minimum score of 180 in HSK 6 (a single subject score of 60 or above).
（4）申请以英文为专业教学语言的攻读硕士、博士学位者，英文水平须达到雅思（IELTS）不低于6.5分，托福机考（IBT）不低于85分，托业（TOEIC）不低于750分。
Applicants for master's and doctor's degrees with English as the professional language of instruction should have a minimum score of 6.5 in IELTS, a minimum score of 85 in IBT or a minimum score of 750 in TOEIC.
3. 申请人不得选择作为母语的英语、法语或其他第三语言或文化作为研究方向。
Applicants must not choose their native English, French, or other third language or culture as their field of study.
三、申请材料
Application materials
申请人须真实、准确、完整地填写在线申请表格并提供以下材料（所有申请材料须由中文或英文填写）：
Applicants must upload the online form authentically, accurately and completely and also provide the following materials: (all the applying materials must be filled in Chinese or English)
1. 《中国政府奖学金申请表》（申请网址：studyinchina.csc.edu.cn）。
Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship (applying website: studyinchina.csc.edu.cn).
2. 护照首页。如现持有护照有效期不符合要求（护照有效期应晚于2022年9月），请及时换发新护照。
Passport first page. If the current passport validity period does not meet the requirements (passport validity period should be later than September 2022), please issue a new passport in time.
3. 经公证的最高学历证明。如申请人为在校学生，须提交本人就读学校出具的预计毕业证明或在学证明。
Notarized certificate of highest academic degree. If the applicant is a current student, he/she should submit proof of expected graduation or study certificate issued by the school he/she attended.
4. 学习成绩单（自本科阶段起）。成绩单应包括本科、硕士（如有）、博士（如有）学习阶段，直至最近一学期的成绩。成绩单应由就读学校教务处、研究生院或有关学生管理部门开具并盖章。可提供中/英文成绩单，如为英语以外语种，需提供英文翻译件公证。
Academic transcripts (from undergraduate level). The transcript should include the results of undergraduate, master's (if any), doctoral (if any) studies up to the most recent semester. Transcripts should be issued and sealed by the Dean's Office, Graduate School or the relevant student administration department. Chinese/English transcripts are available. Notarized English translations are required if the transcripts are in languages other than English.
5. 语言能力证明
Certificate of language proficiency
（1）申请以中文为专业教学语言的申请人须提供有效期内的HSK六级180分及以上成绩报告。
Applicants who apply to use Chinese as the professional language of teaching should provide a score report of 180 or above on THE HSK 6 within the validity period.
（2）来自母语为非英语国家且申请以英文为专业教学语言的申请人，须提供有效期内的相关英语水平证书，其中雅思（IELTS）不低于6.5分，托福机考（IBT）不低于85分，托业（TOEIC）不低于750分。
Applicants from non-Native English-speaking countries who wish to use English as the professional language of instruction are required to provide relevant valid Certificates of English proficiency, with a minimum score of 6.5 in IELTS, 85 in IBT or 750 in TOEIC.
6. 来华学习计划。应提交中/英文学习计划（1000字以上），学习计划只可以用中文或者英文书写。
Study plan in China. A study plan in Chinese or English (at least 1000 words) should be submitted. The study plan can only be written in Chinese or English.
7. 推荐信。提交两名教授或副教授的推荐信，内容应重点包含对申请人来华学习目标要求，中方院校或者中方导师与国外导师的合作情况或者校际交流情况，以及对学生综合能力，未来发展的评价，只可用中文或英文书写。
Recommendation letters. Two letters of recommendation (written only in Chinese or English) from professors or associate professors shall be submitted. These letters shall describe the applicant’s objectives of learning in China, comprehensive abilities, and evaluation of future growth, as well as the cooperation between the supervisors or the exchange between universities both in China and abroad.
8. 个人作品。申请攻读艺术、设计类等专业者，可通过“作品/其他支撑材料”上传个人作品类材料（如影像、绘画作品等），或联系我校以其他方式提供。
Portfolios. If you are applying for art, design or other majors, you can upload your portfolios (such as video, painting, etc.) through “works/other supporting materials”. Applicants can also contact us if you want to provide such materials in other ways.
9. 个人简历
Personal Resume
10. 《外国人体格检查表》。申请人应严格按照《外国人体格检查表》中要求的项目进行检查，并提交6个月内的检查报告。《外国人体格检查表》缺项、未贴有本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医师和医院签字盖章的无效。
Physical Examination Form. The form is designed by the Chinese quarantine authority and can be obtained from the dispatching authority. The physical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. Please select an appropriate period of time to take a physical examination as the result is valid for only 6 months.
11. 无犯罪记录证明。申请人须提交由所在国家公安机关出具的有效期内的无犯罪记录证明，通常应为提交申请之日前6个月以内的证明文件。
Non-criminal record report. The applicant shall submit a valid certificate of Non-Criminal Record issued by the local public security authority, usually issued within 6 months prior to the submission date of the application.

提交材料：截止日期前，申请人还须将完整的申请材料（高清电子版扫描件）发送至lixuan927@cuc.edu.cn，逾期不予受理。
Submission materials: Applicants must also send the complete application materials (scanned HD version) to lixuan927@cuc.edu.cn before the deadline. Late submission will not be accepted.
